Hello there! Can I interest you in a specially made piece of original artwork? Below you can find pricing guides for a couple of standard commissions I do, but I am also open to other projects - contact me!

My commission process works like this: send me your proposal, in as much detail as possible, and I'll in turn propose a price and schedule. Once we're agreed on all that I will submit a first draft for your approval. Depending on the complexity of your project I may ask for a $15 deposit for each round of revision. This will count toward your final payment which will be due upon approving the final draft.

Please note that pricing below does not include shipping costs.

Custom Coat of Arms

A custom-designed, hand-painted Coat of Arms is the ultimate family heirloom. The tradition of heraldry came to prominence in Medieval Europe as a way for heavily armored knights to distinguish themselves. The Coat of Arms eventually became associated with the knights' families and passed down through generations. A traditional Coat of Arms is composed of pictorial symbols that represent qualities of its bearer.

Whether or not your family already has a heraldic crest I will create an original, one-of-a-kind Coat of Arms to your specifications. Your Coat of Arms will be painted in lustrous acrylic on wood panel and come ready to hang with a sawtooth hanger that can be easily mounted to your wall using a nail or thumbtack.

Though you need not feel constrained by tradition, these websites about heraldry may offer valuable inspiration: 1, 2, 3
